What’s the hype surrounding anti-aging promises dedicated to highend facial care?

During the last few years retail giants have dominated the beauty industry with claims like “anti-aging”, “anti-wrinkle” and my favorite “diminishing the appearance of fine lines”. While all the hype is real and the results fabulous, there is a better way to slow the signs of aging and decrease the amount of wrinkles…..NATURALLY and without harsh side effects or long recovery times (from face lifts..eeww!)

If you are looking for a solution to combat wrinkles you are not alone. As we get older, our skin ages and starts to show it. With so many different factors that cause us to get wrinkles, aging is probably the number one reason for wrinkle development. To contribute to the aging process, pollution, smoking, sun exposure, and other environmental factors contribute to the appearance of wrinkles and aged skin. As you can see, there are many reasons why our skin eventually loses its youthfulness. But most of us want to slow down the aging process.

So what are our options? What about Botox or Facelifts? Many people are looking for solutions such as Botox injections, but how safe are these injections? Many studies are trying to prove that there are a lot of potential health risks with anti wrinkle injections. These procedures are still relatively new and it may take years before we discover all the potential risks we are taking. These injections are toxic and it has become clear over the years that toxins are not good for our body.

Face lifts are expensive and require a huge trust in your doctor without a guarantee of your end results, in addition to the long recovery time of several months. There are a few other derma procedures such as ‘facial peels’ but even those can cause terrible permanent skin damage to your face. So, the question is are there any safe, natural alternatives to help prevent or rid the appearance of wrinkles and slowing down the aging process of our skin?

To date there are many natural ‘anti wrinkle’ cream solutions also called ‘anti-aging’ products, which claim they can help slow down the aging process but without potential dangerous side effects. We decided to do our own research on this subject and we found that certain natural ingredients seem to indeed help slow down the aging process and also improve the quality of our skin. This was exciting to us because it gave us hope that there are better ways for us to naturally take care of our skin without going through dangerous, expensive surgical procedures. At Naturally You Skin Care and a Toronto affiliate, we have come up with an innovative and natural ‘anti wrinkle’ product line which we believe to be the most effective.

We determined that the usage of Soy extracts are the most potent of the anti-oxidant phytoestrogens, supporting elasticity and firmness, helping keep skin soft and flexible as is needed when rebuilding damaged Collagens. Cucumber extract and Wild mushroom extracts are natural astringents and help tighten pores, in addition to keeping skin smooth and supple. With the addition of Japanese Green Tea in our facial care line, it is reported to fight damage from excessive sun and environmental damage. Primarily, this ancient Asian plant has the ability to prevent free radicals from further damaging skin cell structures.

A study in France used profilmetry (image analysis of the skin) to measure one of our primary ingredients in our SeaPlex Fine Line Complex (Anti-Wrinkle Line). Unlike Retinol and Vitamin C, which can induce irritations and hyper reactivity, Lipopeptides help stimulate the cellular matrix that leads to the synthesis of collagen I and IV, fibronectine and glycosaminoglycans leading to wrinkle reduction and wound healing.

The results speak for themselves (using Cutometer SEM474, Corneometer CM825, Skinvisiometer SV500):

• 50% decrease in wrinkle depth

• 68% decrease in wrinkle density

• 24% decrease in wrinkle volume
