It’s a fact!

DEA (diethanolamine) and cocamide-DEA produce liver and kidney cancer in mice. DEA detergents are found in high concentrations in shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, creams and bubble baths, liquid dishwashing and laundry soaps. An article excerpt by Dr. Samuel Epstein M.D., of the Cancer Prevention Coalition, states, “Lifelong use of these products thus clearly poses  voidable cancers risks to the great majority of U.S Consumers, particularly infants and young children.”

Exposures to known carcinogens in cosmetics and personal care products present special risks due to their application to large areas of our skin, and the frequent presence of sodium lauryl sulfate, which facilitates absorption. SLS is a known cause of cancer, hair loss and constant skin implications resulting from its prolonged use.
